Terms and conditions for the purchase of tickets for the Nordic Summerball

These terms and conditions refer to the purchase of tickets for the Nordic Summerball, hosted by the Association Austria-Nordic Countries (Verband Österreich-Nordische Länder, abbreviated as VÖNL).

Purchase of tickets

The correct declaration of all required data is necessary for the purchase of tickets. Only the provided payment methods can be used to pay for the tickets. Every ticket can only be validated after the payment process is completed.

Discount tickets are available in limited quantity for students until the age of 27. A valid student ID must be shown at admission.

Information on the purchase of group tickets or table reservations

The purchase of seating tickets for tables for groups/table reservations of groups must be done by only one person of the group. This is the only way to consider the group size when the tables are being distributed. In cases when only a few seats - e.g. for only 2 persons– are purchased, it is likely that people will be seated on a bigger table with other persons. Requests for tables or seats – together with certain people – cannot be taken into consideration after the purchase or after the purchase of single seating tickets.

Delivery of tickets

The tickets will be sent to the customer by e-mail as Print@Home tickets in PDF-format. The delivery is carried out at the customer’s own risk. Printed in A4-format, the ticket counts as access authorisation which has to be shown at the admission to the ball.

The costumer is obligated to check the received tickets for accuracy and completeness. Complaints have to be sent to the VÖNL at sommerball@nordische-laender.at immediately.

Use of tickets

The Print@Home tickets may not be used improperly and may not be copied. At admission the first shown ticket counts as the valid ticket. Tickets with the same ticket code will be counted as already devaluated.

Students who have bought discount tickets have to show a valid student ID at admission.

The selling-on of Print@Home tickets for commercial purposes is not permitted.

Return of tickets

Customers have no right to return tickets after the purchase has been completed.

House rules

The customer accepts the house rules of Palais Schönburg with the purchase of a ticket.

Entry may be refused to persons who are not attired according to the specified dress code. Tickets cannot be returned or reimbursed.
